4-THE REAL CÉLINE

Well, Céline is a French luxury house founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana. American fashion designer MICHAEL KORS was named the first ever women´s ready-to-wear designer and creative director for Céline in 1997. During his tenure at Céline, Kors turned the fashion house around with blockbuster accessories and a critically acclaimed ready-to-wear line. Kors designer for the label until 2004.

5- THE REAL PROENZA SCHOULER

Proenza Schouler is a New York based womenswear and accessories brand founded in 2002 by designer Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The duo met while studying at Parsons School of Design, collaborating on their senior thesis, which would eventually become their first collecction as Proenza Schouler. The collection was bought in its entirety by Barneys New York. Proenza Schouler is named after the two designers ´mothers´ maiden names, Proenza being the maiden name of
Hernandez´ mother and Schouler that of McCough´s mother.

6- THE REAL MARC BY MARC JACOBS

Marc Jacobs  born April 9, 1963. He is the head designer for Marc Jacobs, as well as Marc by Marc jacobs, a diiffusion line, with more than 200 retail stores in 60 countries. He is also the creative director of the French designer house Louis Vuitton since 1997.
(...) He graduated from the High School of  Art and designs in 1981 and studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York.

My favourites bags- PART ONE

Recent as this whole thing and I still can not get me pictures, being a bit shy, I would star with my favourites bags and clarified that for the moment I have nothing luxurious or well-known designers but only copies of these, anyway I think it will not be a barrier to stop posting.
From here (Argentina) the only way to get them for now is by buying online (very costly for  currency exchange) or traveling abroad so here was my way to get them with copies some better than others and have not get all.

1- THE REAL ALEXANDER WANG

For those who do not know who is Alexander Wang (I barely think so) and those who do know and want to refresh your memory here is a mini review:
> He born May 17, 1984 (age 27) in san Francisco, California
> He studied in Parsons The New School for Drasign.
> He lauched his first full collection of women´s wear in 2007
> His lines are now stocked globally by more than 30  of the world´s premiere retailers including BARNEYS NYC, NEIMAN MARCUS, BERGDORF GOODMAN, DOVER STREET, MARKET, BROWNS, OTTE and SELFRIDGES.

2- THE REAL BIRKIN HERMES

THIS ITEM ALSO HAS A MINI REVIEW:
   The Birkin bag is a handmade purse by Hermes and named after actress and singer JANE BIRKIN. The bag is a symbol of wealth due to its high price and exclusiveness to the public.
In 1981, Hermes chief executive JEAN-LOUIS DUMAS was seated next to Jane Birkin on a flight from Paris to London. She had just placed her straw bag in the overhead compartment of her seat, but the contents fell to the ground, leaving her to scramble to replace the contents. Birkin explained to Dumas that it had been difficult to find a leather weekiend bag she liked it. In 1984, he created a black supple leather bag for her, based on a 1892 design. She used the bag for herself then later changed her mind. Nevertheless, the bag has since become an icon.

A LITTLE REVIEW
Balenciaga is a fashion house founded by Cristobal Balenciaga in 1914, a Basque designer born  in the Basque country, Spain. He had a reputation as a couturier of umcompromising standards ans was referred to as ´THE MASTER OF US ALL´ by Christian Dior. His bubble skirts and odd, femenine, yet ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. The house of  Balenciaga is now owned by the FRENCH multinational company PPR.

Hola a todos, soy Belén de Argentina y debo confesar que estoy muy emocionada acerca de este blog, es la primera vez que hago algo similar y quería hacerlo como un desafío así que aquí voy.
